Past November 30th at Quakenbruck (Germany), the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL) and Elea held a free open demonstration workshop for two innovative food technologies involved in the i3-food project.

During this day, more than 50 attendants were able to learn about the Pulsed Electric Field preservation (PEF-P) and Low Shear Extrusion food technologies. These technologies were presented including a pilot scale demonstration with conditions similar to operational industrial environment.
