Conference on food heat treatments in Spain
- Wednesday, 01 June 2016 09:37
On June 9th, IRTA (one of the main consortium partners of the i3-food project) hosted the conference “Key aspects of food heat treatment” in Monells (Barcelona, Spain).
Pere Gou, head of the IRTA Food Technology area and leader of the i3-food Dissemination Work-Package, highlighted the significance of a HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) based on a good temperature control. This opportunity was very useful to share with the attendees (more than 50 stakeholders from food industries) the objectives of the i3-food project for the PEF-P and HPH-T thermal treatments.

Updating the HPP technology: new treatments and applications in a demonstration workshop
- Friday, 03 November 2017 12:50
- Location: IRTA Monells (Girona – Spain)
- Date: November 16th 2017
- Language: English/Spanish (simultaneous translation available)
High-pressure hydrostatic technology is now widely used in many types of food, but what are its latest developments, where are its developments headed, what other treatments are being investigated? What considerations should be taken in terms of quality and food safety? How are all these issues being addressed from a legal point of view in Europe?
If your company is interested in this technology, if you want to listen and dialogue with experts on the subject, and even if you want to submit a sample of your product to HPP treatment, take advantage of this session and participate on November 16th.
